About the Web Quiz
The Web Quiz began in 2007 with a group of friends gathering round a table with a microphone on it. It hasn’t changed much since then. Each episode is a topical panel game, where the material is created using purely online sources.
We always begin by discussing the most searched-for phrases of the past week and usually end with extracts from an unusual blog. We use Wikipedia, eBay, Babelfish, BBC News Online, Facebook and lots of other websites and online tools to create an entertaining and relevant podcast.
Every podcast is hosted by Robert Simpson. There are four different panelists each week. However, there are many people that take part in the Web Quiz and every podcast has a slightly different combination.
