Movie Suggestions for Science or Fiction
The Science or Fiction podcast will begin this week and although we are busily editing and recording we’d like some input - namely what should we talk about?
In each episode of the podcast we will be discussing a different movie or TV show that is, in some way, related to science. For example, our first few podcasts will discuss Minority Report, Innerspace and Event Horizon.
We would obviously like to discuss films that people are interested to hear about and so if you have any suggestions, please feel free to leave them in a comment here on this blog post.
Episodes will kick-off next week and they will be available here and soon-after on iTunes, Podcast Alley and other podcast websites. We hope you’ll join us.

I think you should do Flight of the Navigator. Topics could include; time dilation, memory implantation, telepathy, A.I., shape changing cafts, and… the beach boys?
Something more contemporary; Iron Man. Seriously.
Yes, I like both of those. I’ll have to start an actual list on here somewhere…
Yeah, both of those would be good. It’d be nice to do Iron Man with somebody with engineering experience as well - do we know anyone like that?
I watched Independence Day the other…er…day. There you go. Explosions. Shields. 10 mile wide chunks in the atmosphere. 10 mile wide chunks falling to earth. Telepathy. Nukes in space. Death-star sized alien ships. Inertial Damping. Death Rays. Bill Pullman as ‘hero figure’. Discuss. But I suppose it can all be fobbed off with ‘alien technology’. Even Bill.
